The stated
mission
of the Hall
of Fame
includes Preserving the Legacy of
the game. One of the ways we endeavor to meet that mandate
is to encourage research of the history and culture of
soccer in America. There are many
questions regarding
the history of the game that need to be examined and
documented. While the American Soccer League of the 20s
and 30s has been the subject of extensive
research,
similar leagues that existed in Chicago, St. Louis, San
Francisco, and other areas across the country have not
been documented to a similar extent. If
you have research you wish to share or a specific area
you would like to pursue,
please contact Historian Colin Jose or Director of Museum
and Archives, Jack Huckel for guidance.
