Colin Jose who is North America's preeminent soccer historian gives you an insight of soccer history that is not known by the average soccer fan. He is an English born Canadian whose passion for the history of ' The Beautiful Game' has propelled him to write about soccer in the United States and Canada for over 40 years. During that time his painstaking research and writing has resulted in a body of work acknowledged to be the definitive history of soccer in North America.  He is the author of ten books and has written for numerous soccer publications including World Soccer and Soccer America. He served as historian at the National Soccer Hall of Fame from 1997 - 2007 and also serves as the historian at The Soccer Hall of Fame in Canada.
