John W. Dresmich


Came to the United States at an early age and settled in the Panhandle area of Pittsburgh.

Died: October 1966

Played two years of junior soccer for Morgan and Cuddy before graduating to the Cuddy senior team which won the Miners League and the West Penn championship. Also played half back for the powerful Morgan team. On retiring he managed both the Morgan and Cuddy senior teams for a while before being appointed a delegate to the West Council and then re-organized the West Penn Referees Association. Helped organize the Washington County League and in 1940 was appointed to the West Penn Commission. In 1955 he was appointed chairman of the West Penn Commission and served until his death.
