Came to the United States in 1921 at the age of 15 years and went to live in Cleveland, Ohio.

Died: September 14, 1990 - Ohio

Played from 1922 to 1939 when a knee injury ended his career. He played on league championship teams in 1927, 1928 and 1931 and won the Ohio State Championship in 1929-30. In addition he was selected numerous times for the Ohio State All-Star team as well as on league all-star teams. In 1945, he was secretary and business manager in 1945-46 of the Cleveland Americans, who reached the U.S. Open Cup final, before losing the two game final to New York Brookhattan. The following year the team reached the Eastern semi-final of the National Amateur Cup. In 1948 he reorganized and became secretary of the Cleveland Soccer League and then became secretary of the state association a position he held from 1948 into the 1960s. He also organized the Ohio State Championship in 1950 and became National Cups Commissioner of the United States Soccer Football Association from 1950 to 1957. Later he became secretary and a member of the executive board of the Erie Amateur Athletic Union.
