The Tourism Trail connects seven regionally or nationally unique
attractions located in Rural Central New York State.
The Tourism Trail
also passes near a number of other attractions that appeal to a
wide range of interests. We've provided the primary websites of
every one of the seven attractions. Most of them contain
information about other area attractions and accommodations.
The Tourism Trail
is just over 200 miles in length and passes through rural farm
country, with occasional small towns or cities. It is easy to
access the Tourism Trail from any of four interstates that
border or cross the region.
Imagine! All
these diverse attractions and others can be enjoyed by simply
following the Tourism Trail. Trail travelers will also find
numerous State Parks, state forests, camp sites, access to lakes
and streams for fishing, canoeing, etc. The Tourism Trail
follows well maintained and relatively lightly traveled state
and US highways through scenic upstate New York.
